Titan Poker review

Titan poker is quite probably the biggest iPoker site. It has been around well before the UIGEA, and in its wake, it joined a handful of online poker sites which managed to turn things around and to weather the UIGEA’s restrictions without significant problems. Titan Poker is at the origin of most of the generous promotions that iPoker network offers on all its member sites. Following the UIGEA, Titan Poker’s executives realized the only way to keep the site afloat was to focus aggressively on the European market. They stopped accepting US players to make sure they didn’t cross the DoJ and they cooked up promotions like the ECOOP. The European Championship of Online Poker is a series (much like the WSOP) which attracts players from pretty much the world over with its generous prize-pools and red hot action.

The software used by Titan Poker is the iPoker software the majority of online players know like the back of their hands. The software is extremely solid: it offers stability, nice graphics and decent sounds. The speed could use a little improvement, because currently on account of the overly generous countdown timer, some games barely crawl along at a snail-like pace.
The graphical hand history feature is a great – and rather unique – addition though.

The sign-up bonus offered by Titan Poker could be more generous. New players receive a 50% match on their first deposits, up to a maximum of $200.
